The show went great tonight...the place wasn't that great, but hey doesn't matter. When we were setting up my amp head fell off my cab, but only the speaker cable broke. :) ....and then like 2 mins later jesse's amp head fell off too...it was pretty crazy, but his was fine too. ummmmm well I havn't updated this in a while, and Jen wants me to plus I'm really bored so whatever...I went to the Soilwork/Dark Tranquility concert on Sunday with Dan, Mike, and Rj, and it was pretty cool. It was a lot better than I expected. I liked Dark Tranquility the most, but soilwork was pretty cool. The singer from Dark Tranquilty was also awesome and really funny. There was a girl with a cigarette booth that mike and rj bought from and she was telling me and dan to by something so the only thing we could relaly get was Certs. They were $2 for a little box, but they were worth it lmao. They were so good, and Dan and I are now addicted haha. ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm well on I think Saturday I was driving with Jen and making a left hand turn and I hit the median because I rule. I popped both of the tires on the left side lmao. ........Aperture is playing at the venue of scottsdale on May 15. Everyone in the world should go...tickets are 12 dollars which I know everyone in the world has...and if you don't...steal it...and if you don't wanna do that...go to petco and by a...yeah you know what you buy there and make them steal it. So last night I went to Famous Sams. When I first got there no one was there because jesse didn't get off of work yet, and Jaime came a little bit after him. So I just talked to the other people who usually play there. Then finally everyone showed up and I set up my gear and we jammed. We played for around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Only songs I remember the names of though are Moon Dance, All Along the Watchtower, and litte wing. So yeah it was really fun. I think i did pretty good.
This is also the first day I have listened to anyone else, but Steve Vai. I love his new cd. I guess that is it...I can't wait until tomorrow!!... and I fnally get to see Jen tonight

Tonight was so awesome! Aperture played for jaime's (Bassist) parent's party in some cool wherehouse type place. I got there around 2 and we set up, practiced and hung out until around about 7-7:30 and then we played our set. That was awesome and everyone loved it and then we stopped for awhile, but then later me, jesse and jaime and the guy who owned tha place...who could play drums jammed for about an hour. Jesse and Jaime knew a lot of songs together so he would just show me the chords and then we would switch off playing rhythm and soloing. On the last song of our set we have too semi-long solos at the end of the song, but then jesse just motioned for me to keep on playing so we each ended up doing like 2 min solos each lol...it was awesome. After everything Jesse and I went with my parents to eat at applebees. Anyways... it was awesome and super fun...probably one of the best days I've had in a long time. Also...the people from Warner records listened to our demo and looked at our presskit and everything... and they loved it. :0

Well today was just an ordinary school day I guess, but we had a physics test today on Uniform Circular Motion. It was extremely hard, but I think I did really good on it. Then in Jazz band we got a 50 min jam going and it was awesome. One of the most fun days in Jazz band in a long time. If it was like that everyday I would love it...but it's not.

Aperture was supposed to play at Famous Sams tonight just to play for people and get Ryan (the singer) some experience because he hasn't sung infront of a big crowd before. It didn't happen though because you have to have a parent for everyone under 21, and Jesse's parents were sick so we couldn't play. Oh well...

yeah so today when I got home I was pretty bored so I decided to go to taco bell with my older sister (Shanah), and then when we came home I was still really bored and she was gonna go to the mall with her friend Candice. So I decided to go with Shanah, candice and my younger sister (Angela). It was actually pretty cool because I barely ever hang out with them, and they used to really annoy me, but they are actually pretty cool. Well I have not updated in awhile so I guess I will. Nothing really has been going on. It is just the same thing over and over really. Get up...go to school...come home...don't do anything...repeat. Except for the weekend that is, but there is only two things I look forward to and that is hanging out with Jen, and band practice. I didn't get to hang out with Jen tonight because she is grounded or something which really sucks and she works tomorrow and sunday, plus I have band practice so I can't hang out with her outside of school until next friday. Teh sux.

About my band...we are playing at the Marquee sometime in February. I think it is the 26th but I do not know for sure. Two years ago the same band with one less guitar player (me) and a different, but worse, singer played for the some guy from warner records and he liked them, but he said they were too young and would get together with them in 2005. Well it is 2005 and he called them back and is coming all the way from New York to watch us play. I think that is pretty cool even though nothing has happened yet. We recorded a song last weekend and it came out alright. The snare and bass drum need to be louder in the mix so we will fix that this weekend. Hmm... on Friday I went to see Elektra with Jen, and Rj came too. It was a pretty cool movie and...Jennifer Garner...ahh yeah lol. After that we went to Wendy's for a little bit and we saw Dan Martell and he was with one of my old friends Will (I think that is his name haha) who I havn't seen in forever. On Saturday I did pretty much nothing until later that night when Mike was saying he was going bowling and I said I was really bored so he asked me to come. It was him, me his brother matt and his brother mason plus two girls mike knows who I forgot their names. We got there about 11 and played until about 1. When we first got there they kept moving us to different lanes which was pissing us off. The lane we finally ended up at there was a whole bunch of I guess 8th grade girls and they were really annoying and dancing and getting in the way. I was doing pretty bad too...my best game was an 87 lol. After that we went over to ihop. I had a fun time and matt I already knew was cool, but mason is really cool too... he's a funny guy. Sunday I had band practice with Aperture. Today I was supposed to go bowling with Ryan, Peter and Mike at around 10 in the morning, but Mike all the sudden couldn't go at like 9 am so we didn't go. At about 1:30 I went to Jesse's for band practice. Also, some guy from Warner records who has seen them play before and liked them called the drummer and she was saying that we need to get a demo and stuff to him and he is going to watch us at the Marquee and we might have a shot at getting signed, but that is all just talk as of now.
